Winter’s arrival can sometimes dim our sense of confidence. The cold air, dry conditions, and shorter days often leave us feeling less luminous than during the golden days of summer. If you’ve found yourself in this seasonal slump, take solace in knowing it’s entirely normal—we’ve all been there. Fortunately, with a few thoughtful adjustments, you can reclaim your glow and exude confidence all winter long.

Transform your winter evenings into a sanctuary with a luxurious at-home manicure and pedicure. The harsh weather can leave hands and feet feeling neglected, so pamper them with indulgent cuticle oil and a velvety-rich hand cream. I love to opt for neutral colors, such as pale pinks and milky whites. While this seems like a subtle change, it truly makes a huge difference.

The brisk winter air demands a deliberate and indulgent approach to skincare. Prioritize nourishing and fortifying your skin barrier with products that hydrate and protect. While it is so easy to skip skincare at night, especially while you're all cozy in bed, it is crucial to look and feel your best. My recent skincare regiment has been washing my face with the Youth to the People Cleanser, then adding the Rhode Glazing Milk as well as the Rhode Barrier Restore Cream. I wholeheartedly recommend these products! Once a week, I also love to dermaplane my face at home. This not only ensures that your skin is soft and free of buildup, but also just helps me feel cleaner.

And don’t overlook hydration—sip on warm teas to maintain your inner vitality. After dinner every night, I love to have a piece of dark chocolate or some fruit and almond butter with a little bit of milk thistle tea. Great for your liver, skin, and digestion. And as always, don't forget your supplements!

5. The Luxury of Restful Sleep

Winter’s long nights are a gentle invitation to prioritize restorative sleep. Strive for 8-9 hours to allow your body to rejuvenate, repair, and recharge. Create an indulgent bedtime ritual—dim ambient lighting, disconnect from screens, and unwind with a soothing book or calming music. I really struggle with turning off my phone(and keeping it turned off) before bed, but it is something I am hoping to get better at. Awaking well-rested will reflect not only in your energy but also in your complexion.
